Job Description

The Procurement Officer – Process & Governance will spearhead procurement excellence by driving continuous improvements and overseeing the optimization of procurement processes. He will ensure that all procurement activities are highly efficient, fully compliant, and strategically aligned with both the function and corporate digital transformation objectives, positioning the Procurement Digital Center of Excellence within the next five years. In this role, he will lead transformative process improvements, enforce governance policies, and champion the seamless integration of procurement technologies to significantly enhance operational efficiency and drive NutriAsia's business goals forward.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, addressing gaps in risk management. Ensure all procurement activities are properly documented and aligned with relevant policies and procedures. Maintain up-to-date process documentation and actively represent the procurement function in internal and external audits, preparing necessary compliance reports.

•Manage the ecosystem of digital procurement tools, including data intelligence platforms, process workflows, project management (Monday.com), and e-sourcing systems (RFI, RFQ, and e-bidding). Champion the adoption and effective use of these tools across the procurement team, ensuring seamless integration with procurement systems, streamlined data processing, and improved decision-making. Provide troubleshooting support for system-related issues.

•Conduct supplier performance evaluations, ensuring timely assessments, availability, and issuance of supplier scorecards. Collaborate with the Supplier Reliability team to address supplier performance issues and drive continuous improvement in supplier relationships.

•Manage the vendor accreditation & re-accreditation process, ensuring the collection, verification, and timely renewal of all required documentation, permits, and licenses. Conduct financial analysis and ensure vendors meet quality standards, including specific certifications (e.g., Halal), to maintain compliance and support business requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

•With Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering (or other related courses).

•2-3 years in procurement, with focus on process optimization, governance, and digital transformation.

•Experience with e-sourcing tools, procurement systems (e.g., SAP), and vendor management.

•Proficient in project management and advanced Excel/data analytics.

•Proven track record in driving cross-functional initiatives, supplier performance evaluations, and process improvements.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

•Ability to create reports and dashboards for performance analysis.

•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams.

•Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with strong organizational skills.
