About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our growing team at Jetti_Petroleum Inc.' in Pasay City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure financial compliance
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function
• Provide mentorship and training to junior members of the accounting team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisor role within a financial accounting or reporting function
• Thorough knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
