About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team at LARES on a 1-year fixed-term contract. As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality documentation and materials to support the implementation and usage of our solutions across the Philippines.

What you'll be doing

• Plans, develops, organizes, writes, and edits operational procedures and manuals
• Researches, develops, and documents technical design specifications
• Produces electronic documentation
• Maintains a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Manages updates and revisions to technical literature
• Determines the type of publication
• Plans writing processes and sets timelines
• Assesses the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly documentation
• Excellent command of written English and experience in writing for diverse audiences
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
• Amenability for a hybrid work set-up
• Contract duration: 1 year
