The Trade Marketing Specialist will contribute in the achievement of annual business plan through implementation of promotions and activations at trade which will directly engage the target market to provide consumer experience while building brand recall. He/she will also oversee the merchandising strategies which aim to improve visibility and on-shelf availability to support sales and marketing’s objectives and overall business goals.

The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for the following core processes:

CHANNEL AND OFF-CHANNEL ACTIVATIONS MANAGEMENT

1. Plan and implement the effective promotions and activations across different channels

2. Provide post-evaluation report of all promotions and activations executed

3. Ensures all promotions and activations are within the approved budget

4. Collates data that will aid in the development of the Annual Business Plan

5. Monitor ads and promo spend vs. budget

6. Perform cycle reviews with Sales and Marketing teams to align efforts across the group

MERCHANDISING MANAGEMENT

1. Aid in the management of third-party agency for manpower services

2. Ensure effective implementation of retail placement standards

3. Ensure competence of front-line support through close coordination and regular alignment with the TPA

4. Conduct monthly performance review with TPA to monitor adherence to SLAs

5. Conduct occasional trade check to have mastery of the market, be adept on trends and competition and be familiarized with sales and trade operations.
